Our mice are no longer safe. No longer do they move with happy freedom.

Someone has been stealing the mice trackballs.

And I cant figure out why. Is there some sort of black market for trackballs? Do people sell them overseas to people too poor to buy a mouse but still want a part of a mouse?

Are they the new drug trafficking system? Drug dealers make hollow trackballs, and then fill them with drugs? Thats not good. Soon the school will be the subject of a 20/20 secret investigation, which will lead to a world wide panic. Our mice will be locked up, Microsoft will come up with new a new safe mouse. Celebrities will film teevee commercials urging kids to Stop the Mouse.

Oh wait. I think I over looked one important point. Boys. I forgot that girls are generally attracted to shiny things. Boys seem to be attracted to small things that can fit in their nose, ears, or mouth. Things that roll and can be thrown are even more valuable. Mice trackballs fit this very description.

Hmm. Maybe the drug traffickers knew that boys would eventually want to steal the trackballs, and then try and break them open. I bet they figure that if youre pathetic enough to steal a trackball, youll be dumb enough to try whatever white substance is leaking from it. Then of course youll be hooked on white substance, and youll start paying for trackballs with white substance.
